Edmond de Rothschild to invest €100M in Four Seasons hotel in French Alps

Edmond de Rothschild will invest €100 million in cash in a new Four Seasons hotel in the Megeve ski resort village in the French Alps, Bloomberg News reported Oct. 11.

The 55-room hotel will be Four Seasons' first mountain hotel in Europe and it is slated to open Dec. 15. The 14,000-square-meter asset will also offer the French Alps' biggest spa and helicopter ski safaris on Mont Blanc, among other amenities.

The group's total investment in the hotel is estimated to be close to €130 million, including the noncash assets, Bloomberg said, citing Fabrice Bourgeois, managing director of Edmond de Rothschild Heritage.
