Healthcare-focused private equity firm Galen Partners closed on a majority recapitalization of Miami-based SMP Pharmacy Solutions, a specialty pharmacy that focuses on fertility and other niche and complex therapeutic areas.

Financial terms of the deal were not made public.

Monroe Capital LLC said Aug. 7 that it was the sole lead arranger and administrative agent on the funding of a senior credit facility to support the recapitalization.
