Electricite de France grosses $1.50 billion from debt offering

Electricité de France SA raised gross proceeds of $1.50 billion from an offering of 4.75% senior unsecured bonds due Oct. 6, 2045.

The company plans to use the proceeds for general corporate purposes or working capital.

BNP Paribas Securities Korea Co. Ltd., Deutsche Bank AG's Taipei branch, HSBC Bank (Taiwan) Ltd., KGI Securities Co. Ltd. and Taipei Fubon Commercial Bank Co. Ltd. were the lead underwriters.
