Noble Energy Inc. announced a new firm sales agreement with an undisclosed buyer that would move the company's crude oil to the Gulf Coast, according to a July 3 news release.
The company struck a five-year agreement for firm gross sales of at least 10,000 barrels of oil per day starting in July, then 20 Mbbl/d starting in October up to the end of the agreement. Crude oil sold as part of the agreement would use the buyer's existing transportation capacity to Corpus Christi.
Noble Energy expects to move the crude oil from the sale through its firm transportation capacity on Epic Midstream Holdings LP's Epic Crude Pipeline when it hits full service.
The oil and gas driller recently agreed to anchor Epic Midstream's Permian-to-Corpus Christi, 730-mile crude oil pipeline serving the Delaware Basin, Midland Basin and Eagle Ford Shale. Noble Energy secured 100 Mbbl/d of firm capacity on the pipe.
