Report: Judge in Deutsche Bank co-CEO trial rules out further office searches

Judge Peter Noll, presiding over the trial of Co-CEO JürgenFitschen, rejected a request to allow further searches of the German bank'soffices, Reuters reported April 12.

Prosecutors in Germany instituted legal against Fitschen, that he gave misleadingstatements in discussions about the collapse of the Kirch media empire in 2002.

Noll reportedly cited a lack of evidence supporting theprosecutors' allegations for his decision.

A verdict is expected in the next court session.
