Katipult Technology appoints president/CEO

Katipult Technology Corp., a fintech company that provides software for digitizing private placements, named Gord Breese as its president and CEO, effective Jan. 6, subject to regulatory approval.

In addition, Breese will join the company's board, subject to regulatory approval, on the same day. Prior to joining Katipult, Breese worked in the business software sector with firms including SAP, Apple and Oracle. He was also a part of the leadership team that took Pivotal Software public before it was acquired by SAP.

Brock Murray, Katipult Technology's co-founder, president and CEO since the company listed on TSXV in November 2017, will continue as a full-time executive in the new role of head of global development and will remain a director.
