Apple Hospitality REIT Inc. said Bryan Peery plans to retire as executive vice president and CFO of the hotel real estate investment trust in the first quarter of 2020.

The REIT said it engaged an executive search firm with a focus on external candidates to look for a new CFO.

Apple Hospitality also noted that Kristian Gathright aims to retire as executive vice president and COO in the same period. She will join the REIT's board, effective March 22.
