Coca-Cola board of directors elects SVP

Coca Cola Co.'s board of directors elected James Dinkins as a senior vice president.

Dinkins serves as president of the Minute Maid business unit and chief retail sales officer for Coca-Cola North America, or CCNA. On Oct. 23, he was named president of CCNA, effective Jan. 1, 2018.

In his new role, Dinkins will report to President and CEO James Quincey.

He will succeed J. Alexander Douglas Jr., who, as previously announced, will be retiring from the company on March 1, 2018.
