Autogrill Q3 profit climbs 18.8% YOY

Autogrill SpA said its normalized net income for the third quarter was 23 euro cents per share, an increase of 19.0% from 20 cents per share in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was €58.9 million, an increase of 18.8% from €49.5 million in the prior-year period.

The normalized profit margin rose to 4.9% from 4.6% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue rose 11.6% year over year to €1.21 billion from €1.08 billion, and total operating expenses rose 11.0% on an annual basis to €1.09 billion from €984.2 million.

Reported net income increased 17.3% from the prior-year period to €71.8 million, or 28 cents per share, from €61.2 million, or 24 cents per share.
