boohoo group plc said its normalized net income for the fiscal first half ended Aug. 31 came to £3.9 million, an increase of 9.5% from £3.6 million in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis.

Total revenue rose 35.1% on an annual basis to £90.8 million from £67.2 million, and total operating expenses rose 37.6% year over year to £84.8 million from £61.6 million.

Reported net income grew 52.8% from the prior-year period to £5.0 million, or 0 pence per share, from £3.3 million, or 0 pence per share.
