Retail Opportunity Investments unit buys 2 properties for $97M

Retail Opportunity Investments Corp.'s operating partnership purchased Riverstone Marketplace in Vancouver, Wash., and Fullerton Crossroads in Fullerton, Calif., for roughly $96.5 million.

The purchase was financed mainly through a private-placement issuance of 2,405,430 units of limited partnership interest in the operating partnership and the assumption of roughly $44.5 million of loans secured against the properties.
