The VC Beat: ArcherDx raises $55M; HQO lands $34.3M in series B financing

* Perceptive Advisors LLC led a $55 million series C round for molecular diagnostics company ArcherDx Inc., with participation from new investors Redmile Group LLC, Soleus Capital, Driehaus Capital Management LLC and ArrowMark Partners. Existing backers, including Sands Capital; Longwood Founders Management LLC, or Longwood Fund; PBM Capital and its affiliates; and Boulder Ventures Ltd., also joined the round. ArcherDX collected $60.0 million in a series B round in May.

* An approximately $34.3 million series B funding round for HQO Inc., a tenant experience platform designed for commercial real estate, was led by Insight Partners. Existing investors Accomplice, Navitas Capital GP LLC, Pritzker Group Venture Capital and JLL Spark also participated in the round. HQO secured $6.0 million in venture capital in May.

* Distributed programming platform company Anyscale obtained $20.6 million in series A financing led by Andreessen Horowitz LLC, alongside NEA, Intel Capital, Ant Financial, Amplify Partners LLC, 11.2 Capital and The House Fund.
