Wells Fargo Asset Management appointed Nicolaas Marais as president to be responsible for multiasset class solutions, research and product management.

Marais is based in San Francisco and London, and will join the company on Feb. 1. He previously worked as head of multiasset investments and portfolio solutions at Schroders Plc.

Wells Fargo Asset Management is a trade name used by the asset management businesses of Wells Fargo & Co.
