China Vanke unit issues HK$1.65B notes due 2019

subsidiaryBestgain Real Estate Lyra Ltd. issued HK$1.65 billion notes due 2019 with anannual interest of 2.50%.

BestgainReal Estate issued the bonds under the US$2.00 billion medium-term noteprogram. The notes will be consolidated to form a single series with theHK$2.00 billion 2.50% guaranteed notes due 2019.

Theissued notes follow prior bond issuances worth and , which will also beconsolidated to form a single series, as previously reported.

TheChina Vanke unit offered the HK$1.65 billion notes only to professionalinvestors in Hong Kong and to non-U.S. persons outside the U.S. pursuant toRegulation S under the Securities Act.

VankeReal Estate (Hong Kong) Co. Ltd. served as the guarantor for the notes. ABCICapital Ltd. and Agricultural Bank of China Ltd. Hong Kong Branch acted as thedealers for the issuance.

Proceedsfrom the bond issuance will be used for working capital, investment and othergeneral corporate purposes. China Vanke said the listing of and permission todeal in the notes on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Ltd. is expected to beeffective on May 3.
