Bytom Q3 profit climbs YOY

Bytom SA said its normalized net income for the third quarter amounted to 3 groszy per share, an increase from 1 groszy per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 1.8 million zlotys, an increase from 883,750 zlotys in the prior-year period.

The normalized profit margin climbed to 5.6% from 3.3% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue increased 20.9% on an annual basis to 32.3 million zlotys from 26.7 million zlotys, and total operating expenses climbed 16.9% on an annual basis to 29.1 million zlotys from 24.9 million zlotys.

Reported net income increased 96.6% year over year to 2.9 million zlotys, or 4 groszy per share, from 1.5 million zlotys, or 2 groszy per share.

As of Nov. 9, US$1 was equivalent to 3.96 zlotys.
