Edenville Energy PLC said Oct. 8 that it signed a two-year deal to supply an initial 300 to 500 tonnes of coal per month from the Rukwa project in Tanzania.
The agreed pricing for the supply of coal to an industrial customer operating in East Africa is based on local commercial rates. Edenville has been working with the customer throughout the year to create a product for its operations and has been supplying test batches of coal.
In August, the London-listed producer signed a two-year contract to supply up to 4,000 tonnes per month of coal to an East African industrial group.
