Nautilus Inc. said its normalized net income for the third quarter was 16 cents per share, compared with the S&P Capital IQ consensus estimate of 17 cents per share.
EPS increased 26.4% year over year from 13 cents.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was $5.1 million, an increase of 25.9% from $4.0 million in the prior-year period.
The normalized profit margin rose to 6.2% from 5.7% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue increased 14.3% year over year to $80.8 million from $70.7 million, and total operating expenses increased 12.8% from the prior-year period to $72.5 million from $64.3 million.
Reported net income increased from the prior-year period to $7.8 million, or 25 cents per share, from $3.8 million, or 12 cents per share.
