Washington-based Islanders Bank, Banner Bank merge

Friday Harbor, Wash.-based Islanders Bank merged with Walla Walla, Wash.-based Banner Bank, with the latter as the surviving institution.

Islanders Bank had been a subsidiary of Banner Corp. for over 10 years. The bank's three branches will remain open after the completion of the merger, according to a filing.
