Beacon Pointe Advisors buys California-based Wealth Design

Newport Beach, Calif.-based Beacon Pointe Advisors LLC acquired San Jose, Calif.-based registered investment adviser Wealth Design LLC on March 1.

Financial terms of the transactions were not disclosed.

Wealth Design has $350 million of assets under management and the acquisition brings Beacon Pointe's total acquired assets under management to more than $4.1 billion.
