Arnoud van Zelderen is a seasoned financial professional with almost two decades of experience in the banking industry. He is currently serving as the Managing Director of New10, a fast-growing scaleup that offers online financing to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the Netherlands.

Arnoud's leadership at New10 has been instrumental in accelerating the company's growth and increasing customer satisfaction. He joined the company in September 2021, during its transition from a start-up to a scaleup. Arnoud has a strong personal drive to foster innovation within a big corporate environment, despite the challenges of maintaining strict regulatory compliance and governance expectations. His commitment to creating an innovative environment in a regulated industry is reflected in the successful collaboration between New10 and ABN AMRO.

Arnoud has a solid background in credit and risk management having served in various roles in the Risk management domain at ABN AMRO bank prior to his appointment at New10. Within the risk management domain, Arnoud has played a leading role in defining overall risk management and risk appetite framework, enterprise risk management reporting to the Executive/Supervisory Board, external risk reporting to investors/rating agencies, and Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP) for the European Central Bank (ECB). He played an important role in shaping the overall strategy of ABN AMRO in both 2016, when New10 was initiated, and in 2020.

In addition, Arnoud has served in various positions in the business domain of the bank being responsible for corporate customers. Through these experiences, he has developed a deep understanding of lending to SMEs and corporates. Arnoud's personal vision is to create a sustainable and profitable business model that serves the interests of both the bank and the clients. He strongly believes that long-term success can only be achieved when both parties feel like they are winning.
