Mergers and acquisitions in the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region saw impressive growth in Q1 2025, with activity increasing by 35% compared to the same period last year. Transaction values climbed from $11.1 billion in Q1 2024 to $15 billion this quarter, although the total number of deals saw a slight decrease, dropping from 280 to 264. Israel continues to be a popular destination for M&A activity, recording the highest number of deals in the region, with 56 transactions closed during the quarter.
