Meta, BBC to cut thousands of jobs; Tim Cook to become Apple executive chairman

Facebook parent Meta and UK public broadcaster BBC will slash thousands of jobs from their respective workforces, while Tim Cook is stepping down as CEO of Apple and will become the iPhone maker's executive chairman.
