Fed's Waller urges consolidation of Reserve Banks' support functions, footprints

In order to save money, reduce risk and promote consistency, the Fed should centralize the 12 Reserve Banks system functions related to IT, HR, vendor management, facilities, and procurement and finance, said Fed Governor Christopher Waller.
