CenterPoint expects 12.2 GW of new industrial load in Houston area

CenterPoint Energy expects significant load growth in the Houston area, with 3.2 gigawatts already approved by the Electric Reliability Council of Texas and plans to submit another 9 GW soon, company executives said.
