Marriott acquires outdoor accommodations brand; Blackstone buys 2 developers

S&P Global Market Intelligence presents a list of notable M&A transactions by North America-based real estate investors.

Marriott International Inc. acquired outdoor accommodations company Postcard Cabins, formerly Getaway House Inc., during the week ended Dec. 15.

The Postcard Cabins portfolio is set to be added to Marriott's planned outdoor-focused collection.

In another notable deal, private equity giant Blackstone Inc. agreed to acquire Indian real estate developers Bagmane Developers Private Ltd. and Bagmane Rio Private Ltd., data from S&P Global Market Intelligence shows.
