Colliers to acquire Versus Capital stake; Opteon buys Northeastern Appraisal

Four real estate company acquisitions were completed and two were announced across North America during the week ended July 1, according to S&P Global Market Intelligence data.

Colliers International Group Inc. announced in the past week that it will buy a 75% stake in real estate investment manager Versus Capital Advisors LLC. The deal is expected to close during the fourth quarter.

Pickford Services Co. unit Pickford Escrow Co. Inc. purchased real estate escrow services peer Legendary Escrow Services, and Opteon USA closed its acquisition of Northeastern Appraisal Associates Residential Inc.

Also, Atrium Management Co. agreed to buy Dodson Multi-Family in a transaction scheduled to close Aug. 1. In a related transaction, Dodson Property Management LLC was acquired by Evernest LLC. Dodson's single-family property management, small multifamily building and association management divisions were merged into the Evernest portfolio.
