U.K.-based private equity firm CVC Capital Partners Ltd. plans to open an office in the financial district of Dubai, United Arab Emirates, in September and to increase the number of advisers in the Middle East in a bid to hunt for new investment opportunities in the region, Bloomberg News reported, citing people familiar with the matter.
As part of the plan, CVC Managing Director Ozgur Onder, who is based in London, will spend more time in Dubai and will look to hire a team of deal-makers in the city, the unnamed sources told the news outlet.
CVC declined to comment on the matter, Bloomberg added.
