Jackson, Miss.-based CommFirst FCU is seeking to merge with and into Ridgeland, Miss.-based Brightview FCU.
A special meeting of CommFirst FCU members to vote on the proposed deal is scheduled for Jan. 21, 2022, according to a disclosure with the National Credit Union Administration.
As of Sept. 30, CommFirst FCU had assets of $16.0 million, while Brightview FCU had assets of $24.7 million, according to S&P Global Market Intelligence data.
