Banco ABC Brasil's new CEO starts stint following 2-year succession period

Banco ABC Brasil SA said Sérgio Lulia Jacob has started his stint as CEO, replacing Anis Chacur Neto and culminating a two-year succession period.

Lulia was first announced in November 2018 as a deputy CEO, reporting directly to Chacur Neto, as part of several organization changes and in line with the succession planning process.

Lulia has been with Banco ABC Brasil since 1991, holding several key positions, including vice chairman of the executive board.

Chacur Neto ends his 10-year tenure as CEO of the bank, but will remain as vice president of the board of directors, subject to central bank approval.
