Anoop Desai serves as the Executive Director at S&P Global, spearheading the Sustainable Mobility team's efforts. With a primary focus on measuring carbon footprints and devising effective decarbonization strategies, Anoop plays a pivotal role in driving sustainable choices within the industry. His journey at S&P Global began with an in-depth analysis of global electric vehicle markets, which eventually evolved into overseeing the comprehensive EV 360 practice. This practice delves into every aspect of electric vehicles, from their internal components to the broader ecosystem of charging infrastructure and customer experiences. Anoop's current passion lies in carbon accounting, where he endeavors to measure emissions across the entire automotive value chain. From assessing carbon emissions from production to end-of-life disposal, Anoop and his team are dedicated to developing robust metrics to guide sustainability initiatives. Based in Frankfurt, Germany, Anoop brings a wealth of expertise to his role. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Automobile Engineering and a Master's in Automotive Management from EBS Business School. Anoop's commitment to advancing sustainable mobility exemplifies his dedication to fostering a greener future for the automotive industry.

Josh’s pioneering work founding Inspiration builds on a long track record of leadership across sustainable energy and infrastructure. As an investor, Josh has launched or worked with multiple funds/platforms investing in the energy transition, including Traverse Venture Partners, CCM Energy, Climate Change Capital, and Generate Capital, where he was a founding investor and Director on the Board. As an operator, Josh was the CEO and Co-Founder of Verdeo Group, a leading clean energy project developer backed by Black River Asset Management and Wolfensohn & Company before its acquisition by Sindicatum Sustainable Resources. Time and again, Josh has recognized opportunities to drive sustainable progress through new business models and partnerships. His vision has enabled established and emerging innovators alike to access the expertise and capital needed to flourish.
Josh holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from Dartmouth College and is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.

Sonia Kim is Managing Director and Global Head of Product at Sustainable1 (S1), S&P Global’s business focused on sustainability research and intelligence. Sonia leads the S1 Product organization, responsible for building solutions that help clients evaluate the sustainability of companies and financial assets.
Sonia Kim is Managing Director and Global Head of Product at Sustainable1 (S1), S&P Global’s business focused on sustainability research and intelligence. Sonia leads the S1 Product organization, responsible for building solutions that help clients evaluate the sustainability of companies and financial assets. She oversees the execution of product development and launched S&P’s suite of data and analytics focused on climate risk, environmental impacts, and sustainability performance. Most recently she spearheaded the launch of S&P Global’s Nature and Biodiversity Risk product.
Ms. Kim advises on M&A and strategic partnerships. She led integration initiatives to combine capabilities from Trucost, SAM, and The Climate Service acquisitions, evolving S1’s offerings in the areas of ESG data, emissions, financial risk and impact analysis. Ms. Kim chairs the Sustainable1 Product Leadership Council at S&P Global, facilitating alignment and collaboration on sustainability initiatives across all divisions. She joined S&P Global in 2009 and worked in Market Intelligence, where she was responsible for the commercial distribution of S&P Global Rating’s credit research and analysis.
Before joining S&P Global, Ms. Kim held leadership roles in strategy, research, and product development at Moody’s and Fitch. Earlier, she worked as a financial analyst at Bear Stearns and as a revenue analyst at a healthcare consulting firm.
Ms. Kim is a regular guest lecturer at NYU’s Stern School of Business and has spoken at industry events discussing practical applications of ESG data and tools. She is a member of the Women’s Bond Club and serves as an advisor and member of S&P Global’s employee resource groups including Asia Professionals for Excellence (APEX) and Women’s Initiative for Networking and Success (WINS). Ms. Kim holds an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts from Barnard College.
