Chris Winter is the North America Insurance solutions lead for S&P Global Market Intelligence. In this role, Chris helps insurance clients utilize the full suite of solutions offered by S&P, such as financial data, credit risk solutions, data feeds, and more, while specializing in the NAIC Statutory and Rate Filings products. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and English from the University of Virginia and an MBA from the College of William & Mary.

Tim identifies, shares, and acts upon the major business trends affecting insurers and their investments across all asset classes. Having regular interaction with insurance industry regulators, rating agencies, and trade organizations, he synthesizes information on capital management, regulatory changes, and (increasingly) ESG and climate implications that drive insurers’ investment behavior and decisions. He also serves as a portfolio manager for bespoke multi-manager investment solutions for insurers.

He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society Boston. He holds the Financial Risk Manager designation, the Sustainability and Climate Risk certification, and is a member of the Global Association of Risk Professionals. He also holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst designation and is a member of the CAIA Association.

Scott Fischer is Head of Government Relations and Co-General Counsel of Lemonade Insurance Company.
Prior to joining Lemonade, Scott was a partner in the law firm of DLA Piper LLP (US) focusing on insurance regulatory matters. He returned to private practice after nearly a decade in service to the New York State Department of Financial Services. Scott spent several years as the Executive Deputy Superintendent for Insurance, leading DFS’s oversight of the thousands of insurance companies active in New York. In that capacity, he was actively involved in numerous NAIC committees, working groups and task forces. Immediately prior to the Executive Deputy role, Scott was the Special Deputy Superintendent for the New York Liquidation Bureau where he oversaw the liquidation of dozens of insolvent insurers and managed New York’s property/casualty guaranty funds which made hundreds of millions in claim payments annually.
