Amy has over 24 years of experience in the furniture industry related to product safety, compliance and stewardship and added sustainability to her primary role in 2021. Her background includes a variety of areas including test lab management, continuous improvement, chemical regulation, product safety and sustainability. Amy’s education includes a bachelor’s degree in Technical Education and certifications in Strategy and Sustainability and Corporate Sustainability. In 2022, she led the first effort of Scope 3 emissions reporting for La-Z-Boy, Inc., and is very involved in the renewable energy road-mapping process, and net zero commitment by La-Z-Boy, Inc.
