Igor Kaplun serves as Executive Director, Head of Consulting, S&P Global Market Intelligence Cappitech and is responsible for leading the expansion of Cappitech Consulting capabilities globally. Mr. Kaplun has deep expertise in OTC derivatives, G20 regulatory reporting and post trade services. Prior to joining S&P Global Market Intelligence, Mr. Kaplun spent 11 years at CME Group, most recently as Head of the North America Trade Repository business. Earlier in his career Mr. Kaplun worked in market data, trade operations and support, product marketing and sales. Mr. Kaplun holds a bachelor’s in business administration and master’s in international business from the University of Florida.

Itziar Palazuelos is a Compliance Advisory Lead for S&P Global Market Intelligence Cappitech. Senior regulatory and compliance leader with 15+ years of experience in financial markets, specializing in transaction reporting across global regimes (MiFID II, EMIR, SFTR, CFTC, etc.).
Combines deep regulatory expertise with a strong delivery background, having led complex reporting transformations across buy-side, sell-side, and fintech environments. Known for translating regulatory change into actionable strategy, engaging with regulators and industry bodies, and driving cross-functional collaboration.

Alexis Wiazmitinoff
EMEA and North American Lead - Cappitech
Alexis Wiazmitinoff is the EMEA and North American Lead for Cappitech. Alexis is G20 derivative reporting subject matter expert and product leader with more than 10 years RegTech experience, partnering with both buy and sell-side firms.
His core expertise resides in post-trade and transaction reporting, having product-led Bloomberg’s Reporting/Assurance businesses and product-managed London Stock Exchange’s trade repository. He is passionate about financial regulations and leverages his regulatory knowledge, industry know-how and controls expertise to help build/run state-of-the-art compliance oversight.

Barbara Sobocinska
Director, Head of Global Product Regulations Cappitech
Barbara Sobocinska serves as Director, Head of Global Product Regulations within S&P Global Markit Intelligence Cappitech. In her role, she leads a dedicated team responsible for the identification, analysis, and implementation of any new regulations Cappitech will support, as well as the management of changes to existing regulatory frameworks. She has 15 years of experience working in the financial sector, including operations, post-trade risk mitigation and regulatory reporting.
