Sovereign Credit Analyst
Samuel Tilleray is an Associate Director in S&P Global’s sovereign ratings division, which he joined in February 2016. He currently has direct responsibility for S&P Global’s credit ratings on Cyprus, Greece, Ireland, Luxembourg, and Malta and has covered numerous sovereigns across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
Samuel has previously worked at T. Rowe Price and Old Mutual Global Investors (now part of Jupiter Asset Management), and holds undergraduate and master’s degrees in Economics from the London School of Economics and Erasmus University Rotterdam

Senior Banking Analyst
Pierre Hollegien is an Associate Director at S&P Global Ratings, based in Paris. He is a financial institutions analyst covering banks across Southern Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. His current portfolio includes banks in Greece, Cyprus, and Israel. He is also involved in the analysis of multilateral lending institutions globally and French government-related entities.
Pierre joined S&P Global Ratings in 2016. Prior to this, he worked with microfinance institutions in Senegal and Togo.
He holds a master’s degree in Economics from Université Paris Dauphine and a master’s in Economic History from the London School of Economics. In addition to his native French, Pierre is fluent in English.

Senior Director Risk Solutions
Fotini is a Director in the Credit Risk and Solutions department at S&P Global Market Intelligence, based in London. She focuses on assisting financial institutions, including banks, multilateral institutions, and insurance companies in improving their internal rating systems for low default asset classes like corporates, financial institutions, specialized lending and public finance through probability of default (PD) and loss given default (LGD) solutions.
Overall, she has over 20 years of experience working in financial institutions, including Bank of Ireland, Bank Leumi, and MUFG. She has extensive experience in credit risk with a focus on Project Finance, Infrastructure and other specialized lending asset classes.
Fotini holds a Master's degree in industrial Relations and Personnel Management, from the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Managing Director, Global Head of Quantitative Risk Modelling
Giorgio Baldassarri is Global Head of the Analytic Development Group (ADG). His team is responsible for the analytical development, maintenance and on-going validation of all credit risk models and products across Risk Services. These products are used by financial institutions and companies to measure and manage credit risk within regulatory frameworks such as Basel II/III or Solvency II.
Prior to joining S&P Global Market Intelligence in 2011, Giorgio worked at Barclays for three years as Associate Director in Group Risk (Operational Risk and Credit Risk).
Giorgio holds a Ph.D. in Quantum Mechanics and Semiconductor Physics from Sapienza University of Rome.

An MSc International Shipping and Finance graduate with a BSc in Economics, currently working as a Maritime & Trade Analyst at S&P Global.
MTM's trainee in Operations and Trafigura's trainee in Claims and Disbursements, with 1 year of experience as an intern in a bank, rotating across different departments, and 1 year of voluntary work as a Corporate Relations Manager. A meticulous and quick learner with strong analytical skills. Greek native speaker, fluent in English and French.
