Liberty Mutual Insurance named Francis Hyatt chief sustainability officer.

Hyatt served as executive vice president of enterprise talent practices at Liberty Mutual Insurance.


The Financial Supervisory Commission rejected Yin Chung-yao's appointment as acting chairman for Nan Shan Life Insurance Co. Ltd., the Taipei Times reported.

The Taiwanese regulator cited Yin's lack of experience as the basis for the move.

Nan Shan Life's board appointed Donald Chen to replace Yin, whose appointment was withdrawn, according to the report.

Marsh LLC appointed Oliver Boreham and Robin Milan aerospace brokers in its aerospace team in London, effective in the first quarter of 2020.

The company also named Victoria Mayes account manager for aerospace, effective in January 2020, and Kevin Eley general aviation broker, effective in June 2020.

Boreham served as an aviation broker at K.M. Dastur, while Milan served as a sales and marketing director for general aviation and aerospace at Willis Towers Watson PLC. Mayes served as a senior underwriter at Swiss Re North America, while Eley was an aviation broker at Dashwood Brewer & Phipps Ltd.


Markel International Ltd. named Brook Styles cargo, specie and terrorism underwriter in London.

Styles served as head of marine specialty at Pioneer Underwriting.
