MarshallSprung will serve as a managing director and global head ofcompliance at Blackstone GroupLP, Bloomberg News reported May 10, citing "two people withknowledge of the move."

Sprung left the SEC in April where he was co-head of the assetmanagement unit within the agency's enforcement division, according to thereport.

Sprung will serve alongside Blackstone Chief Legal OfficerJohn Finley, the newsoutlet said. One of the people told Bloomberg that Blackstone's first chiefcompliance officer, Peter Koffler, will take on the role of general counsel atBlackstone Alternative AssetManagement LP.

A Blackstone spokeswoman and Sprung each declined tocomment, Bloomberg noted.
