North AmericanNickel Inc. said July 15 that its C$12 million private placement tofund exploration at the Maniitsoq nickel project in Greenland has been extended.

The placement of 160 million units, priced at 7.5 Canadiancents apiece, will now close around July 21, instead of July 12 previously.

Each unit consists of 1 share and 0.5 of a warrant. Eachwarrant will be exercisable to 1 share at 12 cents within 24 months.

Funds will also go to working capital and repayment of debt.
