Li Cheng Enterprise Q3 profit climbs YOY

Li Cheng Enterprise Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the third quarter came to 91 Taiwan cents per share, an increase from 40 cents per share in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was NT$128.3 million, an increase from NT$56.7 million in the prior-year period.

The normalized profit margin climbed to 23.8% from 15.3% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue climbed 45.3% year over year to NT$539.5 million from NT$371.3 million, and total operating expenses rose 28.9% on an annual basis to NT$366.1 million from NT$284.0 million.

Reported net income increased on an annual basis to NT$174.5 million, or NT$1.24 per share, from NT$77.8 million, or 55 cents per share.
