NextEra Energy Inc. on Oct. 12 named Darryl Wilson as a board director and member of the audit committee.

Before retiring, he held various executive roles in General Electric Co. and its subsidiaries, including vice president and chief commercial officer for GE Energy Connections and GE Distributed Power, president and CEO of GE Aero Energy, president and CEO of GE Consumer & Industrial Asia & India, and vice president, commercial of GE Power.
