SEC postpones decision on SolidX Bitcoin ETF again

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission is postponing its decision again on the proposed listing and trading of shares of SolidX Bitcoin Shares.

Cboe BZX Exchange Inc. filed for a rule change on the bitcoin exchange-traded fund on Jan. 30, and the proposed rule change was published for comment in the Federal Register on Feb. 20. The SEC designated that a longer comment period was needed March 29 and moved the approval date to May 21.

The regulatory body said it needs to gather more comments on Cboe's plan to list the ETF issued by VanEck SolidX Bitcoin Trust.
