AlticeNV is rumored to be considering the sale of SFR Belgium to focusmore on larger markets such as the U.S. and France, BloombergNews reported July 7, citing a person familiar with the situation.

A potential deal could reportedly value the unit at about €500 million. SFR Belgium competeswith Proximus,Orange SA'sOrange Belgium andLiberty Global plc'sTelenet in Belgium.
