MetLife issues ¥151.70B of senior notes

MetLife Inc. on May 23 issued ¥25.20 billion of 0.495% senior notes due 2026; ¥64.90 billion of 0.769% senior notes due 2029; ¥10.70 billion of 0.898% senior notes due 2031; ¥26.50 billion of 1.189% senior notes due 2034; and ¥24.40 billion of 1.385% senior notes due 2039.

The ¥151.70 billion offering was priced May 16, and MetLife expects ¥150.92 billion in net proceeds before expenses, according to a May 21 filing.

The Bank of New York Mellon Trust Co. NA acted as the trustee for the offering.
