Egalet Corp. said Stanley Musial resigned as CFO and executive vice president, effective Nov. 9, in order to pursue other opportunities.

Musial was appointed as CFO of the Wayne, Pa.-based pharmaceutical company in April 2013 and has served as executive vice president since December 2015.

Egalet plans to sign a consulting agreement with Musial for a period of time after his employment ends.

Egalet develops pharmaceutical pain products. It markets Sprix, an anti-inflammatory nasal spray, and opioid pain relief medication Oxaydo.
