Johnson Controls International PLC appointed Michael Ellis as executive vice president and chief customer and digital officer, effective Oct. 14.

Before joining Johnson Controls, Ellis was the global managing director of Accenture PLC, where he provided advisory services on digital strategy for CEOs of Fortune 1000 companies.

Johnson Controls is a multinational conglomerate that provides security, heating, ventilation and fire systems for buildings.
