PJSC Moscow Exchange MICEX-RTS will delay its acquisition of a stake in Kazakhstan Stock Exchange JSC to early 2019 due to technical reasons, Reuters reported Dec. 26.

"It took more time to approve all the documents and make the payment," a spokesperson for the Moscow Exchange told Reuters.

The Russian exchange plans to take up to a 20% stake in the Kazakh exchange and aims to support the latter in its plans to carry out a public offering.
