Switzerland's GAM Holding AG appointed Shizu Kishimoto as representative director and president of GAM Japan, Investment Europe reported Aug. 7.

Kishimoto was previously head of intermediary business at Schroder Investment Management Japan. In her new role, Kishimoto will be responsible for leading the company's sales in Japan and overseeing business operations.

The appointment is effective Aug. 14.
