Nationwide has named Mark Hackett chief of investment research.

Hackett will head Nationwide Funds' capital markets analysis and will be responsible for asset class research, market commentary and white papers. He will report to Christopher Graham, who was appointed chief investment officer at Nationwide Funds in June 2016.

Hackett previously worked at Nuveen and Vanguard Group.

Nationwide Funds is composed of Nationwide Fund Advisors, Nationwide Fund Distributors LLC and Nationwide Fund Management LLC.
