Sonnedix acquires 31.8 MW of solar projects in France

Independent power producer Sonnedix Power Holdings Ltd. acquired 31.8 MW of solar photovoltaic projects in the Bordeaux area of southwestern France from BayWa r.e.

The deal involves the 11.1-MW Bourg d'Hourtin, 12-MW La Redoune and 8.7-MW Gartiou solar plants. BayWa r.e. built the facilities in 2017, according to a Dec. 12 news release.

The acquisition boosts Sonnedix's operating capacity to 189 MW in France and to more than 750 MW worldwide.
