Apartment Investmentand Management Co. director JamesBailey is stepping down, effective July 15.

Bailey has served on the company's board for 16 years. KathleenNelson, a private real estate consultant who has been a director of AIMCO for sixyears, was tapped to succeed Bailey as chairman of the board's nominating and corporategovernance committee.
