Montezuma Mining Co. Ltd.'s said Jan. 19 that its wholly owned French subsidiary Cordier Mines SAS secured an exploration permit for the Bonneval project in France.
The project comprises a single, five-year exploration permit covering about 260 square kilometers, and is highly prospective for gold, antimony and associated commodities in a historical mining area.
The company will now focus on refining an exploration strategy for the project and continuing to work closely with the relevant stakeholders and local communities.
The exploration field programs are slated to begin during the first year, and may initially include airborne geophysics.
